Highlight 1: Design Color System


Background: Duro Dogs is the first game on the NFTY Jigs Platform, where each dog is a unique NFT. Players can train, level up, and collect rewards, with every dog and item being tradable assets.


Problem: Because NFT assets often come in many variations, players found it difficult to recognize rarity tiers. This lack of clarity led to confusion, reduced engagement, and a weaker perception of value, ultimately impacting sales.


Solution: Working with the Design Lead, I developed a color-coding system that mapped dog tiers to distinct visual palettes. Common, rare, and ultra-rare dogs were defined by clear dominant and secondary color rules, making each tier instantly recognizable. This system streamlined player understanding, improved categorization, and enhanced the marketability of NFT assets, while also strengthening retention by making rarity feel more rewarding and collectible.

Highlight 2: NFT Marketplace


Background: NFTY Jigs needed a scalable marketplace to support its growing ecosystem of games, making NFT assets easier to discover, trade, and monetize.


Problem: The existing in-game marketplaces were fragmented and limited, causing poor asset discoverability, inconsistent user experiences, and missed revenue opportunities.


Solution: I collaborated with two designers to design and launch the marketplace MVP, defining product requirements that aligned usability with business goals. The platform introduced:

  1. Filters, categories, and rarity indicators that streamlined asset discovery, helping players easily navigate large inventories and quickly assess the value of items.

  1. A unified supply of assets across multiple games, which not only boosted liquidity but also encouraged repeat engagement by giving players more consistent access to items.

  1. A clear path for both primary and secondary sales, emphasizing scarcity and exclusivity to create excitement while opening new revenue channels.

The marketplace MVP became the foundation of NFTY Jigs’ cross-game economy, sparking early adoption and setting up long-term monetization opportunities.

Impact

Through product and design contributions, we scaled NFTY Jigs’ gaming platform and marketplace, enhancing usability and driving adoption.
