👋🏻 Hi! I'm Chang Mou
Product Designer based in San Francisco
I recently graduated with an MDes in Interaction Design from California College of the Arts, building on a BSc in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University in Canada and 3+ years of industry experience. I design across SaaS, blockchain, and social innovation, turning complex challenges into simple and meaningful products.
I’ve designed AR mobility tools with UNICEF that give children more safety and independence on public transit, launched AI-powered features at Litespace that boosted adoption and company growth, and contributed to blockchain gaming at NFTY Jigs. I also created PollenNav, recognized by Red Dot and New York Product Design Awards for helping allergy-sensitive people navigate the city more freely.
Outside of design, curiosity fuels me. I enjoy exploring new food spots, diving into books and podcasts, and noticing everyday details that spark creative ideas. These experiences keep my approach thoughtful, practical, and a little playful, intending to make life easier and brighter.

Superpower 1: Build First, Iterate Better
I believe great design grows from bold iterations. Guided by business goals, I move fast to prototype, test, and refine, transforming early concepts into solutions that scale. I push the boundaries of craft and professionalism, raising the bar with every cycle.

I see communication as a cornerstone of design. From aligning with executives to collaborating across teams, I make ideas clear through dialogue and documentation. I adapt to the moment, stepping up as a decisive leader or supporting collaboratively to keep teams moving forward.

I worked with many amazing designers and saw their edge was high agency: owning problems, navigating ambiguity, and building momentum. I bring that same mindset, creating clarity, driving impact, and turning challenges into opportunities in today’s fast-moving AI era.
